How to make your own hand sanitiser - Thalia Skin

Enter Essential oils. They are antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral by nature. Tapping into their incredible array of medicinal properties is a far healthier way to offer some immune boosting benefits to you and your precious family.

Here is our DIY recipe that will disinfect, while offering your hands some moisture:

  • 5 drops of lemon, lemongrass or sweet orange essential oil
  • 5 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 15 drops of tea tree essential oil
  • 5 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
  • 1 tablespoon of witch hazel
  • 1/4 cup aloe Vera gel (as pure as possible)

Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir to combine. Transfer hand sanitiser to a small, clean pump bottle and store it for up to six months.
